uncomfortable musings
does anyone else worry about Thompson might have been avoiding? he saw Watergate coming; what do you think he thought about the years he decided not to see?

i heard there were complications with a broken leg. but c'mon, this is Hunter Thompson. i think it would take more than medical issues to put him down. this is a man who's well accustomed to pain, discomfort, nausea and indeeed probably most every physical sensation the human body is capable of. he's ultra-political, brilliantly philosophical and a vicious cynic. i'm sure he gave some thought to the future without him.
