they go together really well. not to be confused with sex and violence, the media-glamour perversion of the concept, which is much less cool, or at least unaesthetic.
sex and dying can be seen as the antipodes of the life-death duality, being the active forms of what are more normally states of being.
they're a great example of the synonymous opposites (see prev. post) that make linear thinking so futile. the death and rebirth experience has traditionally been accessed via sex, drugs, sex while on drugs and/or very nearly killing oneself.

i'd love to see a socio. survey that examined people's opinions about things like having a death and rebirth experience.
