Certainly, and the universe would play at 1000 bpm (it's set on about 175 right now). Of course, it would be hard to see the difference from the perspective of, for example, a human on earth. A much more interesting effect can be observed from adding a triangle on the downbeat every other measure, although it would probably mean an end to life as we know it. *shrug*
